Description
The fitness-focused VR rhythm-dance game where you catch gems, ride ribbons, smash drums, and dodge barriers while dancing to hit music choreographed by a professional dancer. Plus, custom-level support with the in-VR choreography editor means the dance party never has to stop.
History
The game, and the studio behind it, started with a love story between a game developer and an architect. Brady Wright was developing games for virtual reality at Owlchemy Labs when he met Architect Ashley Cooper. Shortly thereafter, the two fell in love, both with each other and with the idea of creating their own virtual reality experiences together. So in February 2018, Ashley left her job as an architect at a top firm in Austin and started Kinemotik Studios, and Brady left his job at Owlchemy Labs / Google, to join her, and the two now work out of their apartment creating their first publicly available game, Audio Trip. After over 6 months of self-financing the project, they connected with Andromeda Entertainment, who believed in their vision and became the publisher of Audio Trip, helping make their virtual reality a reality. Now after a year and a half of creating, polishing, and playtesting the game, Audio Trip will be available in arcades and at home in all major VR headsets.
