Greetings, interstellar friends! As we traverse the cosmic voyage of 2023, we're halfway through our orbit around the sun. It's the perfect moment to put our engines on idle, reflect on the constellations we've charted so far, and share our exciting trajectory for the remainder of this stellar journey. I also decided to have an extra bit of fun with this write-up and its marketing language; I hope you enjoy it!
Creating Our Constellation in the Gaming Universe 🌍
Our expedition led us to Reboot Develop, where we hosted panels that shimmered like brilliant stars and an interactive session as captivating as a supernova. At AWE, we echoed our visions and shared our insights, spreading our light just like our celestial namesake, the Andromeda galaxy.
Glowing Victories in the NYX Awards' Celestial Sky🔭
We're humbled and thrilled by our glowing victories at the NYX Awards. Our game, Shadowgate VR: The Mines of Mythrok, swept up three gold awards, brightening the gaming cosmos with top honours for Meta Quest VR Game in Adventure, Puzzle, and Best Debut categories.
IRON GUARD, another stellar member of our gaming galaxy, took the gold for the Best Game Categories - Rising Star and was awarded a silver in the Meta Quest VR Game - Strategy category.
Audio Trip rhythmically danced its way to two silver awards for Best Visual Art and Best Experience in the Meta Quest VR Game category.
Lastly, Andromeda Entertainment itself was recognised with a silver award as Best Publisher; like a binary star, we twinkle brighter together!
Pioneering New Frontiers: Upcoming Titles🌙
We're thrilled to announce that six promising new titles have been sighted through our telescope. Though we can't share their full cosmic coordinates just yet, these titles are poised to ignite your headsets with their brilliance!
Welcoming New Astronaut: Karol Maru✨
Our interstellar crew has expanded with the addition of Karol Maru, our new Social Media & Community Manager. Karol, a classically trained pianist and a Rockschool certified professional, adds a unique melody to our team with her expertise and her pursuit in Marketing Management.

Setting the Coordinates: Upcoming Events🪐
We're charting a course for Games for Change this month with Jason Parks from ROTU Entertainment, and he will be projecting his vision on how immersive gaming can be used to encourage positive social change, to the universe. Developed by ROTU Entertainment, transformative experiences like Eolia and Ionia are already contributing to making a real-world difference as proceeds from each purchase are channeled to non-profit organizations dedicated to combating climate change. Creating meaningful, transformative experiences has been our North Star here at Andromeda Entertainment, and we are proud to be supporting Jason and the ROTU team at G4C this year.
We're also aligning our trajectory for Devcom in August, where I'll be participating as a speaker for the third year! Time flies when you're having fun... and travelling through wormholes! I'll be talking about community and parsing player feedback and also hosting a panel of gurus on combating online toxicity. Both have me as excited as an astronomer discovering a new galaxy! We're also preparing for a stellar journey to the VR Awards in Rotterdam later this year, where we acknowledge, honour, and celebrate exceptional accomplishments in the VR industry. I was over the moon when I received the invitation to serve on the judging panel for this year's award alongside many other esteemed industry professionals. The opportunity to be a part of this fills me with excitement, and I look forward to seeing all of your groundbreaking submissions that will no doubt be out of this world.
